An economical fast drying acrylic primer that prepares most surfaces for hanging most wallcoverings especially prepasted wallcoverings. It seals primes and sizes in 1 step eliminating poor adhesion open seams shrinking and raised edges. Tintable to help hide seams. When applied Shieldz clear is light pink in color but dries clear. Ideal for priming painted surfaces that are in sound condition paneling and existing wallcoverings. Eliminates the need to sand glossy paints or finishes. Suitable for use on porous surfaces under latex and oil-base paints. To prepare new drywall for wallpapering it is best to use Shieldz Primer.
