Minimum spacing from ceiling surface is three inches. Housing interior is High Reflective white polyester paint and exterior finished is Silvadillo polyester paint. Uses (2) T12 or T8 48" lamps. Quiet running premium electronic ballast. 0 degree cold start-up. Downward facing pull chain for easy, stress free on/off function. UL listed
